If you've spotted a balloon installation around Iowa City or Cedar Rapids that made you stop mid-scroll (or mid-sidewalk) and smile... there's a good chance it was Alissa's work. She's the creative force behind Bliss Balloons, and she has a gift for turning ordinary spaces into the kind of moment people want to photograph. 🎈

Here's the thing about installations like hers, though: the finished product is only half the story. Behind every balloon arch and every color-coordinated cluster is a whole lot of strategy, branding, and consistency happening off camera. That's where we come in.

The Challenge: Making the Brand Match the Energy

Bliss Balloons already had the "wow" factor down. Alissa's installations speak for themselves. But a brand isn't just the work you produce, it's every single touchpoint someone has with you before they ever see it in person. The website. The Instagram grid. The first DM reply. If those moments don't carry the same excitement as the installations themselves, there's a disconnect.

That was the goal we set out to solve: make sure the excitement people feel standing in front of a Bliss Balloons install is the same excitement they feel scrolling the website or clicking through the feed.

What We Did

We stepped in behind the scenes to support Bliss Balloons' marketing, focused on making the brand experience feel just as thoughtful and joyful as the installations themselves. That meant looking at the full picture, not just one piece of it, and making sure every touchpoint felt like it belonged to the same brand.

Why This Kind of Work Matters to Us

Marketing isn't about making every business look the same (we'll say that one forever). It's about helping each business show up in a way that feels authentic to who they already are. Alissa's brand needed to feel exactly like her installations feel in person: playful, vibrant, a little unexpected. Our job was making sure that came through everywhere, not just on site.

It's easy to look at a finished project and only see the pretty parts! One of our favorite things about this work is everything that happens before that: the strategy sessions, the back-and-forth, the small creative decisions that don't show up in a final photo but shape the whole experience anyway.

Partnering with Businesses Like Bliss Balloons

Getting to work alongside businesses like Bliss Balloons is exactly why we love what we do. Watching a business owner's personality and energy translate fully into their brand (not a watered-down version of it) never gets old.

If your business has an energy that your current branding isn't quite capturing yet, we'd love to hear your story.
