Main Street Sweets has been a local favorite since 2010 but had never invested in professional design. They wanted a visual identity that felt true to their classic diner-style menu and hometown charm while bringing new life to the brand after nearly two decades.

What inspired the design direction?

The new brand pulls from nostalgic diner visuals, old-school typography, and playful mascots to capture the warmth, familiarity, and retro comfort of a classic burger-and-ice-cream joint. Our goal was to create a look that felt timeless, fun, and instantly recognizable.

Main Street Sweets brings that nostalgic hometown comfort to every burger and cone, mixing classic flavors with a fun, elevated twist that still feels totally laid-back. It’s the spot where community, comfort food, and good vibes all collide, making every visit feel easy, familiar, and just a little extra special.

Main Street Sweets has been a hometown staple since 2010, serving up burgers, cones, and the kind of small-town comfort everyone loves. But even after nearly two decades in business, they had never partnered with a professional designer — so we got to bring their brand to life for the very first time.

We built a Mini Brand that leans into everything people already adore about MSS… fun mascots, retro diner typography, and a nostalgic throwback vibe that feels warm, familiar, and full of personality. It’s playful and old-school in all the best ways, while still feeling polished and intentional.

Now, Main Street Sweets finally has a visual identity that matches the heart of their restaurant — a timeless, welcoming little spot where families gather, burgers sizzle, and ice cream cones taste like childhood.
